Welcome to Everyday HCG!

Hello and welcome to our new blog Everyday HCG!  We are Jillian and Tara, the married team behind Everyday HCG.  Between the two of us, we’ve completed 6 rounds of HCG and have lost 110+ lbs. (and counting).

We’ve totally transformed our lives, the way we eat and wanted to create a space to share what we’ve learned. Everyday HCG will just that, with a focus on sharing our recipes, tips and tricks for sticking to the HCG Diet in a way that fits into everyday life.

Our HCG Story

We both LOVE food and admittedly struggled sticking with the protocol our first round of the diet we did together. We felt like the protocol food options were so limited it would be near to impossible to feel satisfied with the food we were eating. Instead of giving up, we researched many HCG cookbooks, blogs, vlogs and started to develop our own HCG diet approved recipes.  Since Tara is a chef she had a fairly easy time getting creative and actually making HCG recipes we both genuinely enjoyed. Our new found homemade HCG recipes enabled us to stick to the diet and eat food we actually enjoyed.

Tara is a chef by trade and I am a foodie and baker. We absolutely love food. Our food knowledge and our combined experience with personally going through 6 rounds of HCG puts us in a unique position to create and share original HCG recipes that will satisfy your taste-buds while sticking to the HCG diet protocol.

Beyond P2 – Keeping the weight off

The lifestyle choices and bad habits we developed over the years lead us down a path of consuming large quantities of food that was bad for us.  We used the HCG diet as kick-start to our weight loss journey but realized very quickly that if we went back to eating and living the exact same way we did before the diet, then we would a gain back the weight we just worked so hard to lose. Because of this we totally overhauled the way we ate after the first round of HCG.  We will be sharing how to take the lessons you will learn about portion control, hunger recognition, and living life on a limited diet and applying them to P3 and beyond.

Connecting the HCG Community

Real-time access to individuals who are going through the HCG diet when you are is the best support system one could wish for.  We want this to be a place where fellow HCGers can share, connect and support each other.

We are working on putting together free HCG Diet Guides that will have food lists, calories, etc. You can subscribe to our blog or sign up (in the form to the right) for our email newsletter and we’ll send you resources 2-4 times per month.
