What has been the most challenging thing about week one?

Personally this week has been a total mess!  Tara and I are one week 3 of moving (we’re done now!) but typically when we start I like to have a big day of cooking so I’m ready for the week.  Because our kitchen was packed up and we didn’t have the time/energy to cook it was a challenge to eat on-plan.  I ate lost of eggs, protein shakes, and fruit with a dollop of FF plain Greek yogurt.

What has been you biggest win?

Thursday night Tara was so busy she asked me to make dinner.  Without a recipe I made a big throw-together fridge meal for everyone and it tasted DELISH!  It fed all 4 of us two meals so I was super proud (I’ll be posting this later this week).

What has been the most challenging thing about week one?

Staying on the diet was really challenging.  Because I was helping my parents move into their new house, I was off my normal schedule and in unfamiliar places.  I ate a LOT of green salads with no dressing (which wasn’t the most satisfying) but kept me on track.

What has been you biggest win?

Having my pants fit again and already seeing results in my neck, face and stomach are super motivating.  Compared to when I tried weight watchers, you see results immediately, this really helps me to stay motivated not to cheat and stick to the protocol.

Any tips & tricks you learned this week worth sharing?

Keep an apple or apple chips with you at times.  They are easy to carry with you so you aren’t tempted to cheat when you’re hungry.
