Apple and Strawberry Fruit Salad

One of the most challenging features of the HCG Diet is the extremely limited types of food you can eat while on P2.  To help my taste buds stay satisfied, I like to mix up my daily fruit allowance.  By combining types of fruit, you mouth will be satisfied with different textures and flavors.  Strawberries and apples are two of my favorite to combine.

This simple fruit salad combines the natural sweetness of fresh strawberries with the crisp texture of fresh apples
Ingredients
  • 1 Small Apple (or half a large apple)
  • 4 Strawberries
Instructions
  1. Wash and dry fruit.
  2. Cut tops off strawberries and slice into 4.
  3. Cut apples into 1/4 inch pieces. I do this by slicing apple around the core into 4 pieces, then slicing each of those sections longways then shortways (like you’re cutting an onion).
  4. Mix in small bowl and enjoy!
  5. If you are using fruit that isn’t quite ripe add several drops of Stevia.
